More Gallery Shows This Weekend

There are even more fine art exhibits by tattoo artists this weekend. In Encinitas, CA, 454 Tattoo will be hosting Sit, Stay ...Give, a show featuring animal themed art work whose sale will benefit Rancho Coastal Humane Society. Tattooists donating art include Mike Rubendall, Brad Schneider, Micah Caudle, and Jeremy "Champ" Renaldo who did this painting shown here, among many other artists. Prints are also available for sale. The opening is this Saturday, May 3, 2008, 7-10pm and the work will be on display in the 454 Tattoo lobby until May 17, 2008.

In Japan, the super Sabado will present his second fine art exhibit called the Crazy Art Show. This Saturday and Sunday, from 10AM-8PM, he'll be presenting his wild freehand tattoo work and drawings at the Diamond Hall. See photos from the last show here. Call for Submissions: The Fourth Annual International Art Envelope Fundraiser Exhibition and Silent Auction is requesting original mail art for display and sale to raise funds for The Claremont Forum's Prison Library Project – a local service project which sends thousands of books to inmates throughout the country. The deadline for submissions is May 25th and the exhibition will be held June 2-8. It's open to anyone, and you can contribute more than one piece.
