In sharp contrast to the bizarro tattoo news earlier, it's my pleasure to post this fabulous YouTube video of the live painting performance in LA featuring Guy Atchison, forefather of the biomech organic tattoo movement; Michele Wortman, painter, tattooist, photographer and wife of Guy; and visionary artists Alex and Allyson Grey of the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. Indeed, Alex's work has inspired many tattoos and tattooists itself.
The message in this video, created by Guy and Michele for their TattooTelevision series, is that live art shows, where works are being created in the space, are just as compelling as, say, music concerts, and can inspire viewers creatively in their own lives.
You'll also glimpse our buddy Shawn Barber at the event creating a portrait of Guy, Corey Miller from LA Ink painting offstage along side dark surrealist Chet Zar.
